Management Team
hepdirect is managed by a well-rounded team of executives with strong track records in the In-Home Furniture Delivery and Retail industries. With more than 80 years of combined business experience, the management team is committed to the highest level of performance, ensuring the most reliable delivery standards in the industry.
Keith Hewitt, Chief Executive Officer
Keith founded the company in 2004 and oversees the company’s short and long-term strategies, as well sales efforts and developing strategic partnerships with retailers and manufacturers. Prior to founding hepdirect, he spent nearly 20 years in the software industry in various roles. Roles included Industry Manager of Retail at Microsoft Corp., as well as Vice President of Strategic Retail Alliances at JDA Software, overseeing retail and manufacturing strategic alliances and partner initiatives.
Byron Fehler, Chief Operating and Information Officer
After nearly 10 years in various channel and product management roles at Microsoft Corp., Byron joined hepdirect in 2007 as Chief Operating and Information Officer, responsible for all operations, customer service, and corporate technologies. Prior to Microsoft, Byron spent more than 14 years in the financial industry with Fidelity Investments and Fifth Third Bancorp.
Earl Shrawder, Vice President Sales
Earl joined hepdirect in 2009 as Vice president of Sales with more than 25 years of logistics operational management, consulting, and in-home transportation sales experience. Prior to joining Hep Direct he had represented several major competitors in the in-home delivery industry. Earl has also held roles in domestic and international logistics operations and management with Mobil Chemical, Federal Mogul World Trade, COBE Laboratories, and Lenox China.
Joe Guiterrez, General Manager West Region
Joe joined hepdirect in 2009 as Transportation Manager and was promoted to GM of West Region in 2011. He is responsible for the daily operations of the West Coast facility and brings over 10 years experience in the transportation industry that includes overseeing the daily operations of Home Delivery Link for Levitz Furniture as well as Living Spaces Furniture where he oversaw logistics, customer service, and delivery truck operations. Joe's management background began in the the US Marine Corp and also includes 14 years of law enforcement service.
Rusty Morris, Director of Customer Service
Rusty joined hepdirect in 2010 as Director of Account Management and Customer Service. He is responsible for managing the call center, account management, and customer service working directly with consumers, retailers, and manufacturers. Rusty came to hepdirect after more than a decade of working in various sales management roles in the furniture industry, most recently as Sales Manager in the mass merchant division of Samson Marketing.
Vickie McNair, Director of Human Resources
Vickie joined hepdirect in 2005 and is the Director of Human Resources. She is a seasoned furniture-industry and textile veteran whose 27-year career has spanned a number of diverse operating roles, from customer service and inventory control with Bassett Furniture, to design, distribution and production planning with Pillowtex-Fieldcrest Cannon.
Scott Anders, Director of Warehousing and Order Managment
Scott joined hepdirect in 2011 and is responsible for warehousing operations as well as order management processes and workflows. Scott came to hepdirect as part of the acquisition of Executive Delivery Service where he served as Vice President and brings over 20 years of in-home delivery services knowlege.
